It was a lovely clear Saturday morning, when we left the Hyperdome car park with 10 Corvettes. We arrived at Parklands to meet up with quite a few more members giving us a total of 26 Corvettes on show for the day. It was great to see George from Down Under and members from NSW Corvettes Unlimited Club showing their cars at this event.

Raceline judged our cars with trophies going to the following winners:
Best Overall Kim Burns (NSW Corvettes)
Top Paint George Gilby (Corvettes Down Under)
Muscle Award Rick Werner (Qld Corvette Club)
Top Engine Bay Murray Foreman (NSW Corvettes)
Best Classic Mark Malone (Qld Corvette Club)
Best Interior Garry McLaughlin (NSW Corvettes)

Saturday was the lead up day for this 2 day event, next year we will plan to be there on the Sunday with the Independence Day Cruise run by the Thunderbirds of Qld, this has always been a huge run with 250 cars pulling into Parklands this year.
