17 of us departed from Clive Peters for our trip down south, picking up 4 more along the way.  We arrived at the restaurant a little after 7.30 to join another 17 members.

It was good to see a few Northsider's venturing south as well.  After our car park attendant, Bob, directed the traffic, we entered the venue to devour some liquid refreshments whilst choosing from the extensive menu of ribs, steak, chicken and fish.  Rubbish bins for bones and finger bowls for hand washing were placed strategically around the tables as I had advised the staff of some of our members eating habits.

Singing was also the order of the night as a couple of members celebrated birthdays.  I think it was just an excuse to express how jovial we all were.  A terrific night was had by all, with everyone commenting how good their meals and deserts were. (Bob looked like Fred Flintstone as he devoured his ribs) Yabba dabba doo.

The night ended in the car park with everyone chatting for a good hour or so, except for Peter who was getting photos of our chef, for the night, in his car and also a couple of stray females.

Can’t wait for the next Corvette dining experience................
