I have to start by thanking our Club Events Coordinator and his dedicated group of volunteers for the hard work all have invested in this year's Hot Rod Show.  Our display is a credit to these wonderful club members, with many positive comments from show visitors.  The volunteers who gave their time to answer a myriad of questions from interested Corvette fans contributed greatly to advocating our club and probably learned a few things in the process.

Setting-up Friday afternoon, manning the stand Saturday, Sunday & Monday, then dismantling everything and heading for home Monday afternoon was a great effort made easier by the involvement of many club members.  This annual event is always an excellent way to meet fellow members and become involved with your club.  We present the Corvette marque to other motoring enthusiasts, members of the public and raise much needed funds for our benefactor - the wonderful people at Camp Quality.

If you were unable to help out or visit during the show, I would whole heartedly encourage you to accept a role in either of the next two significant club events, i.e.  the Camp Quality Dinner and our club's Gold Coast Concourse.  Please don't be shy, become involved, the rewards are greater than you would imagine.
