Indy Driver's Parade - Sunday 26 October, 2008 - Gold Coast

After 6 years, Brad and Sandy Stumer are getting good at organizing this event.  All went smooth except for one Cobra breaking down and wanting to catch fire in Sundays Indy Drivers Parade.  Better a Cobra than a Vette we both said!
The street parade with 5 trucks full of dancing girls, gymnastic displays and full of music, colour and excitement were lead by Peter's C3 and kept in line by Brad's C4 at the rear.  Thousands of people lined the streets of Surfers to wave and cheer, ( Peter thinks they were only there to see our Vettes, not the 50 plus gorgeous dancing girls.)

The select group of us who donated our efforts were well rewarded as the atmosphere of the street party and driving the Indy circuit with both V8 and Indy drivers as well as Indy girls of course, is one memory to be treasured always.
Thanks also to Dave Kelly and John Tait who took thousands of photo's as the clubs official photographers.
Our clubs involvement in this international event through the achievements of Brad and Sandy and Raceline events is another truly unique Queensland Corvette Club experience.
