Talbarra RSL Retirement Village - Old Chev run, Sunday 26 October 2008

With Indy on and not much to do for those of us that were indifferent or couldn't get there, it was a beautiful day for a cruise.

With that in mind and a invitation to meet a few like minded old Chev drivers, five Vettes headed off to Waterford for a spot of morning tea and a chance to get some elder folks blood pumping.

Was great to catch up with my dad, and he was thrilled to meet some of the people Sally and I call our friends.

After spending time going over some fine examples of early Chevrolets six of us headed up the mountain for a late lunch.  Was very nice to find the temperature several degrees cooler and after a leisurely lunch, we took a cruise down the mountain via the very steep Gauanaba Road.  All in all, a most enjoyable afternoon.  Cheers to those that came, It made my Dad's day.   Ernie.

And a very Happy Birthday to Ernie's Dad.
