The Committee, Delegates and Members of the Queensland
Corvette Club wish to thank their sponsors, guests and members of the public
for helping to make the 2009 "Corvettes on the Coast" Concourse, such an
outstanding success. Special thanks to our concourse committee and
dedicated helpers for their efforts to insure the day was planned and
conducted efficiently and without incident.
Approximately, 60 beautiful examples of the Corvette
Marque were displayed in a beachside park on the Esplanade at Surfers
Paradise. This display was well attended by members of the public,
keen to get close to these classic machines.
There was a very informative demonstration from James of
Surf City Garage, introducing their impressive variety of the latest
cleaning and polishing products. Camp Quality had their Bush Bash car
along for the day and brought lots of great information about this wonderful
cause as an encouragement for people to become involved with this special
charity. And, the boys from Clagiraba Rural Fire Service were nice
enough to bring one of their fire engines to help draw the crowd. Our friends at Performax International displayed their
beautiful C6 - the very latest of all models on display.
Thank you to all QCC members that attended, individual entries and
especially, the large group from Corvettes Down Under. Everyone's
attendance helped make the day such a great success.
Thanks to Mike & Jaimes for their photos. Congratulations to this
year's trophy winners and a big thank you to all entrants.
