This is our 7th year organising the Parade Laps for the Drivers
and VIP’s. This year we had 15
Corvettes, 9 Cobras, 5 Mustangs, 3 Hotrods, ’39
Pontiac,
’57 Chev & 2 El Camino Ute’s.
Even
though there was a massive hiccup with the organisation of the SuperGP, we
still had a great weekend. We
started it off with the Surfers Show Girl Street Parades on Friday &
Saturday night with one Vette a
’39
Pontiac & Surf
City
Garages Blue XR8 Ute.
The
Sunday V8 Drivers Parade Lap went well with the weather being fine up until
we started the parade. As we were loading our passengers the rains began and
continued until we unloaded in
Pit Lane,
then sunny skies for the rest of the afternoon.
