Friday night dinner this month saw 18 of us head to one of Ali's favourite local eating holes, The Boathouse Tavern at Coomera.  We decided to move in from the centre area surrounded by the water filled mote as it was a little chilly out there, and set up with portable　heaters at hand.  I think also because Geoff might have wanted to go paddling was Ali's thoughts.

A terrific meal was served to everyone together which was great for a change and something other places seem to struggle with.

Bob and myself got upto some usual antics and Lorna was very chirppy after a wine or two.  Great to have the company of the newly wed Squires and having Phil there to use as a "single" for us to pick women out for was a bonus....  Barb elected to use the time to her advantage by getting all our ideas on a new laundry location for her which was terrific for the Millers as I think they are still in the look and learn stage of dining out with us.  For several hours the new FND tablecloth was passed around for signage, scribbles and the likes ready for Ali to present back to Keith in August for it's next round.

Should be presented at dinner early in the night will have to be the rule, as after a few ales it looked like it was getting a bit rude!!!! Ernie....
