19 players formed the team on a fine Friday night.  Eight of the party gathered at BP Stapleton and then left in convoy.  Bob Mihill forced his way into the fleet at the lights at the M1 exit in front of Glen Miller and then proceeded to lead Glen up the old Casey Road path.  Apart from this, all the team was assembled at the restaurant on time. 

The company was great, the venue very relaxing ,the food plentiful and the quality was fine.  The fixed fare menu proved to be a bit of a problem.  It was a struggle for all to consume the final (fourth) course.

I thank all who supported the occasion.  It was good to see some new “Friday night faces”.  Next time I will make the timing more suitable to in relation to the working day.  Barb Kelly dashed home early to catch up with husband Dave who had been away for a week with Peter chasing the Land Speed record.  Ali caught up with Peter at the end of the night.

Thanks to Keith and Jan for organising this lovely evening with the crew.  We all look forward to the next opportunity to catch up.
