Saturday 13th November was our Friday Night Dinner this month and for something else different we held a Corvette trivia competition.

Leaving the Hyperdome at 4:30pm, we headed off to meet the Northsider's at Nudgee to interact with the 32 quiz hungry members.  The questions were handed out for contemplation as we headed off on the last leg of the cruise to Belvedere's Steak and Crab House at Woody Point, Redcliffe.  The 15 Vettes had a secure park out rear and upon entry to the venue the bribes started arriving.  A $500 note from the Millers, then a quick beer handed to me, I knew what was going on !!!

Private reserved seating to place our beers, menus were perused and as the meals started coming out and so were the answers.  Geoff wasn't giving too many correct ones and as Team Yellow's chief knowledgeable one it showed.  Ern and Webro couldn't see over Cons shoulder well enough to cheat, Team Tait's were still writing the tennis scores from last week, the Glanville's tried to impress us, but didn't, Ali impressed us all by how much she can eat (as usual) but most of all I was impressed by the social side of the evening.  Everyone mingled, some just trying to cheat, (hey Silky), others were genuinely interested in conversation. 

As controversy started over some of the answers I was glad I made the statement that they were my questions so my answers are the only correct ones.

First was Dave, an $80 Renovo voucher, second by half a point Con and third was Keith (we know Kay did the answers) both with Corvette T-Shirts. 

Few more beers, Ali was finally full, more stories and a happy birthday sing-a-long to Keith then it was a nice 100km cruise home.
