President's Report (June 2006)

Hi all - Stand-in President's Report by Bob Mihill. As Ernie and Sally Whittle are having a well earned rest away on holiday at present, returning end of July to join us in Toowoomba for the Christmas in July Weekend Away (22nd/23rd July).

We already have over 30 members and their partners coming along to this event (still room for more - just contact Barbara Kelly on 55 272 047 or Mobile 0413 216 300 if you wish to join us for an exciting weekend). Santa is looking forward to seeing you all - A great time will be had - Ho ! Ho ! Ho !

The June meeting went off well, thanks to all the members that came along and their support. At the meeting we had a vote on the new small increase in membership fees for the year 2006/2007. The meeting passed the motion that the fees would be $77-00 (Incl GST) per year (Show of hands for the motion - Total/ Show of hands against - NIL) Motion passed. You all will receive renewal membership forms in June's magazine. Thank you.

The Club Meeting is for all members and we would like to hear from you regarding any thoughts/ideas you may have for the benefit of the Club (It's your Club of enjoyment - SPEAK OUT)

On the 9th July - Corvettes Down Under Car Club's 8th Annual Car Classic at Southbank - Set-up by 8.30am - A good day should be had by all that attend.

On July 16th - Show n'Shine - Logan Entertainment Centre, Wembley Road - Set-up by 8.30 am (see you there)
On July 22/23rd - Christmas In July Weekend Away - Toowoomba (Great weekend to be had) Santa will (see you there)
