President's Report (June 2007)

Hello again, time to update for another month. Thanks to all of our charity minded members who turned up on Thursday nite to drive
Camp Quality guests from Milton and the Powerhouse restaurant to the new port facility near Ascot. The quests were the usual interesting characters and were very impressed with there mode of transport. Alas this was the last trip we will do for Judy New, our main contact at camp Quality for many years, as she is moving on. We wish her all the best for the future, and hope she keeps in touch.

We also had the Hot Rod Show over the long weekend and to those gentlemen that provided the cars and their time, I personally would like to say that the help in setting up and removal again of the stand was most appreciated. Thanks heaps it was a great effort.

Keep in mind the AGM is coming up and nominations for positions can be made early so write them down , and give them to Brad, as he is Secretary until the AGM. If you want to nominate for yourself feel free and if you want to re nominate a committee member that’s OK also. So get those nominations in ASAP.

For those that were not at the club meeting , Brad and Sandy and the Convention committee have managed to run the Convention at a profit, all be it small its no mean feat, and a real credit it to them both.

Remember that membership fees are coming due for renewal also, lets get them in and paid up by the end of June. Forms are in with this months magazine. Please fill in all your details for the update of our members directory, this is important , so please make the effort.

For anyone chasing merchandise don’t forget to get in touch with Sally, simply ring her and she will get it to you.

Keep a close eye on the upcoming events as there is something there for everyone, we would love to see some new faces.
