President's Report (November 2007)

Hi to all our members and families, 9 weeks to Christmas.  What a great year so far with lots more to come.  Thank you to all the members who turned up for the three events in September.

Rivermount College Fete - 10 cars turned up.  All American Car Show at Mt Gravatt - 12 cars turned up and Friday Night Dinner at Ormeau - 28 people turned out.

All three events were well supported and the members flew the flag for our fantastic club.

The monthly club meetings on Wednesday nights are going well with the new format of having the tables out so there is ample space were you can put your drinks and books down.  Thank you to all the hard working committee who are doing a great job this year.

For early December, Nev Solomon is organising our Christmas Party for members and their families at the Australian Motorcycle Museum, Haigslea, on Sunday, 2nd of December.

Also a great day out at Bribie Island to help the kids from Camp Quality on Sunday, 25th November, and Breakfast at Ipswich to play bare foot bowls on Sunday, 18th November.  I would like to thank Ian from Raceline for being our major sponsor again for the Indy Muscle Car Festival 2007, which was held at the Broadwater Car Park on the weekend before Indy.  Hope all had a good time.
