President's Report  (August 2008) 

G’Day to all members and your families.

The AGM has come and gone for another year.  Thank you for a great turnout at the meeting, the best support we have had for a lot of years.  The new Committee is looking good, thank you to the new committee members who put their hands up to help the Club for another year.  The coming year ahead will be very busy for all of us, so all the help you all can give us will be most appreciated.

 Nev’s American Icons Day was a great success riding with the Hogs and all the cars.  Nev’s organisation of the event did him proud.  He set his home up to make it a fantastic day.    Funds were raised to benefit three charities.

 Club memberships are now overdue so please send in your fees as soon as possible.  If your membership is not paid by the September meeting you will not receive your magazine.

 Don’t forget Sept 14^th run (Highway Thunder) to support the Bravehearts organization.     Friday night run on Sept 19^th will be to the Golden Choice Chinese Restaurant at Ormeau.     Check your magazine for details of both runs.
